Why we carry it
The Powerbolt2 is the simplest keypad deadbolt we sell: six codes, one temporary code, motorized locking and auto-lock, and nothing to pair or update. We fit a lot of these on side doors, basement doors and rental units where a key is a nuisance but nobody wants an app. SmartKey means we key it to your existing key while we are there.
Kwikset has moved this model to discontinued status, which is why the price is where it is; while we have stock it is a good, honest lock, and the lifetime mechanical warranty still applies.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can this be keyed to match my existing house key?
Yes. This lock uses a Kwikset KW1 keyway with SmartKey, so if your current locks take a Kwikset key we can re-key it to match in a few minutes — at installation, or in the shop before it ships. If your home uses Schlage keys, ask us about options before ordering.
Will you install it?
