The exterior side is operated with a key (Schlage keyway), while the interior thumb turn allows for quick and convenient locking and unlocking from inside the home. Designed for residential entry doors, the deadbolt provides an added layer of security for front doors or other exterior access points.
The Sandstone is a traditional-looking grip handleset at a price that lets you replace a tired builder-grade front door set without a second thought. The cylinder is solid brass on a Schlage keyway — the same keyway most of our customers already carry on their key ring — and the interior side is a simple thumb turn.
Choose "Key Alike" and it ships pinned to the same key as any other AT locks on your order. If you want it matched to your existing Schlage key, tell us in the order notes or at installation.
Every AT lock on your order with "Key Alike" selected is pinned to the same key before it ships, so one key opens all of them. Choose "Key Differently" if you want separate keys. This is a Schlage-keyway lock: if your existing locks use Schlage (SC1) keys, we can usually match those too — mention it in the order notes or call us.
It is a complete set: the exterior grip with thumb latch, the interior trim, and a single-cylinder deadbolt with an interior thumb turn.
Defective hardware can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a refund with no restocking fee (see our Return & Refund Policy). If we installed it, call us and we will come back and make it right.
